I have used Newstube but its been a while. I went with another theme after a few weeks

It's a nulled theme .. I am trying it out to see if I like it, but it's driving me nuts

Would you recommend any other magazine style themes that are simple and clean?

Well i use the Newsmag theme.

Whether you'll find it simpler i don't know, but personally i found it easier to work with.
