Of course they have the ability to detect. Question is if they are actively detecting.
If they do I was considering figuring out how they detect it and compiling chromium from source with those giveaways removed...
Youtube is owned by Google. Google made chromium. Compiling from source would make no difference if they were actually watching chromium users. Keep in mind that is a big if.
I am fairly certain I am the reason why google started monitoring views back in 2007. The famous stopping @ 300~ views. Before that, you could thread a single video on a dedicated server with 1 IP and get millions of views, it was rediculous. After that, I believe they had a secret key embedded in the flash video, and if you hit that value, you didn't have to watch the video at all. Pretty sure it's the same.. haven't touched the stuff in years.
What I am saying is maybe they are not actively targetting chromium users. It seems to me that anti-spam is mostly about getting the low-hanging fruit.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck then it must be a duck.
However, if it looks like a duck, but runs like a cheetah, then there is something odd and it possibly is not a duck but an attempt at forging a duck.
It is futile using a browser, and adding all sort of modifications which at the end will only get you a duck that runs like a cheetah with out you knowing.
You need to get a duck that looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck.
In other words, you are changing how the duck looks , but you aren't changing it's ability to talk and walk like a duck because you don't understand how to change it. I believe that's the problem, because if you build a youtube views bot by skipping the use of a browser, then you will understand how a duck looks like, talks, and walks.

Yeah ive tried this before @jamie3000

To make this work you will need several things
- proxies
- change user agents
- youtube accounts?
- wait on each video for 90% of video length
I got stuck on the proxies part
if you have BOT I can get proxies for tube
Finding proxies is not the problem
Implementing them with selenium is
The rest of the bot is easy
I've try more than 5 times during 2016-2017 dec but always stuck on 301 -___-
But since 2017 never test it again,..
