Anyone Using Pinterest For Traffic

Hey guys,

I'm interested in finding out how many of you guys use Pinterest for traffic. I've recently signed up, and it seems to very popular among women. I've managed to get a couple followers and repins in just a few hours.

Planning to setup one or two blogger blogs related to women niches, and see how it goes.

Anyone has experience with Pinterest and ways to maximize traffic?

Lot of people here using pinterest traffic and adsense. Don't know if this is a good Idea but you can try it yourself. Maybe you can try to sell some clickback products or start a blog where you give a clicktrought to your amazon link

Thanks for you reply. Yes, I've read a couple thread related to Pinterest on BHW, and I've noticed it's popularity. Right now I only have 31 followers all of which are women 25+ years of age. I'll wait till I build some a large amount of followers and maybe some popular boards before monetizing.

Thanks for the reply man! Will make my way to the big boards. I also heard that Pinterest handles spam seriously, so it may take a while to build a legit looking account.
 
Pinterest can be a great source of traffic, it is definitely worth it.
 
i have my a big account with 50K with some few bigger fashion group which help me. i just automate my wordpress with pinterest. after 10 min one post in my group people pinning repin in one week i m start getting near 500 UV day by day increasings
 
I have one account pointing to multiple blogs and get 1500 - 2000 hits to my offers and about 3000 hits to all my blogs combined.I just have mine setup on auto pilot 24/7 to follow and pin..I made $83 today.Taking the slow approach doesn't work that well,but there is a limit and its all trial and error.Just try different things.

Five simple steps for getting good traffic from pinterest
1: Find a good niche
2: Build your profile, not only with your pins but also random pins from using popular boards
3: Get some fake followers, there are lot offering this, get at least 1000
4: Find group boards use this to search group boards in your niche
site:pinterest.com "1000..100000 followers" KEYWORD -intitle:followers "contributor"
Replace keyword with your any niche keyword
5: Request to join them, once in start pinning, keep it steady and slow, also mix some general pins don't pin all from your site
Wisdom and steady is key of success here
 
Yes, Pinterest is a great source to bring traffic in your blog/site.
 
I don't use Pinterest at all. But I guess it is a good way to get more traffic. Sharing interesting tutorials, teasers; focus more on trending topics; include "call to actions" captions; host contests on Pinterest.
 
You don't want fake followers that will get you banned and real followers are better.You don't need to use group boards to get good traffic.You get better results creating your own online presence.It pays off trust me.

group boards are where the followers lie.
