Can I run Instagress for like 72 hours on fast with comenting and be alright or is that unsafe? Where is the line what guidelines should I follow to be safe?

With any automation tool/service, you always run the risk of getting your accounts banned. It's not just instagress.
And sometimes, it's not the service's or tool's fault. It's the way you managed your account.

I use Instagress all the time too, and haven't been banned yet. So I don't know what your definition of "TON" is.
Instagress is definitely worth the money for me. I just wish things could be even faster when it comes to following/unfollowing. I wish they add the feature where I give them x number of people to follow an hour and they go off of this number instead of their fast, normal, and slow settings.

I actually think that Instagress, even at fast pace, is the safest.
If you run it at FAST it more or less reacches 900 likes, 250 comments and 600 follows in 24 HOURS
which are very moderate as activity

I usually use fast settings.
And I follow followers of a particular user until it gets to 7,500. I then wait like 3 days to unfollow those not following me back. Then repeat. When I'm out of folks to unfollow and my follower count is back to 7,500. I then unfollow all, and then start all over.
While I'm doing this, I'm also liking ALL of the pics that come in my news feed from folks I'm following. I think because of this, I get way more likes.
I don't use Instagress to comment...at all! I may get some fake accounts to do that for and maybe buy some more time with Instagress. Still thinking about doing that later, but I'm too scared to do mass commenting with my main account.
