Used free hosting before, okay for testing, but super limited. Slow speed, no custom domain, and bad uptime. Not good for serious SEO or monetization.

Yes, I’ve used free hosting before. It’s okay for beginners, but there are limits.
You get low storage, slow speed, and sometimes ads on your site.
You also don’t have full control. Good for testing, but not great for serious blogging. Better to move to paid hosting when you can.

I've used freehosting.com for a few TLDs. Not bad overall, no ads, no limits, downtime only one sudden awkward afternoon once a month for an hour or so. It gives you an unsecure http, but you can pay a one time fee to add SSL or https status to the hosting of the domain.

Free hosting may seem attractive at first, but it has serious limitations. It’s slow, unreliable, and when traffic comes in, they cut your resources or suspend your site. Usually, it’s also hard to connect your own domain.
If you’re planning something serious, even the most basic paid hosting makes a big difference.
