We usually suggest a 4-5 days and posting 2-3 posts with no links before starting to post with links. Also mixing in no link posts from time to time helps as well.

Its a good platform but you need good quality content to improve the stick rates of your blogs.

Ive used them a fair amount and must say there pretty decent.
