I got this free ebook from Jason over at SEOZombie that gave a basic rundown on how to properly setup a compartmentalized Blog Farm to promote your money site. It was a killer read and I wouldn't have understoon JVMarket's thread in this forum without it. Anyway, he suggest adding as much variance to your blog farm as possible. Examples include mixing in self-hosted blogs on different hosting packages in conjunction with free web-hosted blogs & other Web 2.0 properties like Blogger & Squidoo. One thing he suggested was to mix a few Drupal & Joomla sites into the mix. Said that a lot of people don't like to learn how to use these and just go with Wordpress on each and every self-hosted site. He implied that the extra variance helps in masking the blog farm. Anyone using Drupal or Joomla sites in their blog farm? Are they just as easy to setup/use as Wordpress?
