Anyone using Cloud Hosting for Wordpress?please share your experience
Not yet and I am not planning to. In my opinion cloud hosting is too expensive. I would only use it for eCommerce projects which could get immediately too much traffic (in order to handle all that traffic). Is there a special reason why you think about using a cloud infrastructure for your WordPress blog?
I heared that cloud is not expensive we just have to pay what we have used...
Just to clear things up:
Compared to an own dedicated server/VPS it IS expensive. But companies that need a lot of servers for handling traffic also need system administrators for maintenance. What cloud computing companies say is "Look, you have to pay for servers, for maintenance, for system administrators etc... With cloud computing you don't have to worry about those things as you are just paying for what you use"... so THEY are doing the system administration and load balancing and stuff like that and companies can focus on their main business and can save time. (and time is money)
If you just want to host one blog you might better use shared hosting like offered on Hostgator for 10 bucks.
