Are they still good? How many sites do you guys usually host per account?

Any hosting suggestions?

I have a couple of sites hosted at bluehost.... not impressed but not so bad!
maybe for the money of around 7$/month you can find much better hosting
I have prepaid for a year (4-5 months remain) and probably will switch to another host that allows gzip compression (BlueHost don't allow)

I use blue host, never had any problems. I have 3 accounts each account hosts 8 to 12 different sites, all sites i have on them rank first page google.

I use BlueHost with very few problems. 7 sites on my shared plan and beleive they are a good shared hosting option to consider. HostGator is another option.

I use Bluehost. Have about 15 domains on one account. Sometimes my load times are a bit slow but other than that I don't have any complaints.

Only complaint that I have it the site sometimes loading slow.
i have 3 authority sites hosted and sometimes i find it really slow.

go for other hosting!

Try Hostgator or Photonservers.com had good experience with those two.

I have 30 sites per account, is that a bit much?

I'm looking to create an auth site with potential for heavy traffic. Any suggestions? Amazon?

I had to quit using Bluehost after I have noticed they are throttling all my blogs. I was using 100GB monthly bandwidth with one site and about 3000 UV per day. I have noticed that when I try to open any of my blogs I get a blank page or site unavailable message, and after a refresh it was available. I have checked the stats and I saw that my account has been throttled for about 6 hours in the previous 24 hours. That's when I had to move to a VPS and I am more than satisfied. I guess "all unlimited" isn't exactly "unlimited" at Bluehost.

I use BlueHost and FastDomain, both are good for how cheap they are. Customer service is decent as well.

I highly doubt that. They're quite a decent hosting company.

I have a site hosted there for 3 years, had zero problems. Although it's quite a small site and I don't check it often for uptime, loading speed, etc. Can't say anything about that.

They have special promotions on big holidays. I got my $17/year deal on easter. Otherwise there are hosters with same quality and cheaper.

I use bluehost for my small websites or you can as test websites.

As far as I know they only offer shared hosting and they will shut your account if you reach their shared hosting limits i.e 7% of the cpu usage.

In this situation you cant host website which receives big amount of traffic. I have talked to their support and they say that when your account receives around 2500 page views a day then there might be issues like shutting down of account.

So, I would suggest you, not to go with bluehost if you range around 2000 page views a day, because you get your account shut any time.

Remember they only offer shared hosting, so no room for upgrading later.

Dont use Bluehost. They are a complete joke when you have an issue. Get things wrong a lot, like randomly charging me $140 lol. Like others have said, when your site isnt small it goes very slow.

Bluehost is super noob friendly! I have spent hours abusing their instant chat support, it's helped me so much, but when your getting more advanced I've had to end my dealings with them.... didn't like their .info domain prices either!
