Anyone using blogspot to make small-niche sites and actually are able to rank with them?
I created 4blogs for super easy keywords and they were indexed in few hours, but it's been now 4days and none of them have any rank at all yet ( for normal domain sites it's like 2days to get the rank for me)

Anyone else experiencing this? and how long usually it takes to get any rank at all with blogspot blogs?

    Thanks!

google ranks blogspot blogs based on their age as well as keywords, seo, etc. You are not going to get immediate top rankings for blogs you've just created. In the meanwhile I recommend that you create quality original keyword rich articles and over time you should see a nice bump in your rankings.

I have couple hundreds of blogspots blogs created years ago that still rank very high in serps, i see no penalty for them. I have not created new ones recently though, so not sure how they rank anymore.

I have created couple of blogs in blogspots . They have decent number of posts in them, can you suggest any blackhat techniques like cloaking for them?

the best advice i can give is STAY AWAY FROM BLOGSPOT. first of all it sucks for seo, you definitely have a better chance of ranking with wordpress. secondly, google is very trigger happy at banning Blogspot sites. Any thing that looks remotely spamlike will get locked and then if you want it to be unlocked, you have to request a manual review. There's literally no advantage whatsoever to using it over wordpress

I'd prefer .info instead of blogspot :)
