Anyone using Article Kevo?

Bought the full version. First impressions - nice interface, seems user friendly enough and Yes, it's not clunky...

Total number of directories..... We'll let's just say I probably need the updated database from somewhere as my list of directories is empty.

Jackson, can you please PM me a download link for the latest directory database.

Need to play around with this a bit more, but certainly looks competent enough. Some nice added features (directory scraper, proxy scraper, captcha solving). Nice author email setup features as well.

Overall - a solid buy on functionality and features.

You don't need a download link for the site list (it's easier than that). Just hit on File > Check for Site List Update/Download Latest Site List and there you have it. You usually don't have to do that manually though - each time you open AKV it'll prompt you to download if there's a new site list.

Sites in the site list would be those that we've successfully submitted to (not just signup) using AKV. We'll add new scraped sites from time to time, but focusing on adding functionality that allows users to create their own properties to submit articles to.
 
Yes i purchased the software too, on Lee's appraisal.
So far i think it has a bright future
Im really looking forwards to the new linkwheel management in the pipeline
i hope you can manage to give it a similar setup as "link wheel bandit" with regards to tiered structure and submissions to web2
Something tells me thats on its way

I don't know about web 2.0s... but for article directories, this is a great tool. It's on par with AMR, if not better.

Just got done with the free 7 day trial.

If I could afford it I would continue to use it.

The built in article directories gave me about a 13% auto approve rate but the successfull submission rate was probably upwards of 80%. Much higher than I was getting with GSA

The Pligg and Scuttle sites gave me probably the same success rate.

Same for the Elgg sites.

Same for the wikki sites, think there are over 1400 wiki sites.

In short, it just works. I only used the sites that come built into it. If I were able to locate a private site list and it had the same success rate I would be ecstatic.

Only problem I had was the web 2.0 creation, I tried to create 1 of each of the web 2's they service and none of them worked. Honestly I dont think it was the software tho, I was using one of those free VPN thing's and the ip i was on was probably blacklisted. That's what I think anyway because everything else worked so well with the software that it seemed hard to believe that that module would give me a 100% failure rate.

That is the only module I used the free vpn on also (the web 2 creation), when I used the supplied Article Kevo proxies is when I got the high success rates I spoke of earlier.

It takes a while to startup but once it does the program feels lightweight...I dont have the fastest computer so that's important.

Has resource box spinners, will take your keywords and urls and put them in spintax also. Has a pinger that pings all live links to 10-15-20 sites (not sure how many) with the push of a button.

Has a footprint and article scraper but I didn't use them so I dont know about that.

I'm still new to automated tools and have used GSA, Magic Submitter and Article Kevo...Kevo was the easiest for me to learn, was up and submitting the same day with it, which is an accomplishment for me.:D

Free 7 day trial so I would suggest u give it a spin...I created more backlinks in the week I had it then I did the previous couple of months.maybe too many as my site has now disappeared from page 3 to out of the top 100...lol...but thats cause I knew I only had a week so I blasted. Figure it's just dancing around and will come back soon. Not the software's fault, it's mine for the way I used it. Blasted cause I was used to hit and miss but I had too many hits with kevo.

Any tweaks and extras get added quickly
Especially since we threatened to send mother in-laws through the post if they did not
Web 2 creation, you need to use a catch all email.
Worst I have done so far is getting 300 wordpress blogs deleted, after creating them and then spamming them too quickly.
Which gives some idea of what can be done with a handful of proxies and a couple catch all email's
The option to drip feed as many blog articles as you want, is another nice feature to make them look real
 
About the web2s - would be great to implement a possibility to change the standart "About" pages and profile info.
For the Articles - it`s much more better that AMR: permanent refresh of the site list and excellent support.
 
Any ETA on the sales thread? I think the requirement was 3 months for Jr VIP. Don't forget to add a decent discount. :D
 
I just downloaded the trial today and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE it! It is so much better than AMR. I hated AMR. That darn thing hardly submitted anywhere. Article Kevo operates so smoothly and the list is very fresh. I'm in love with it. 5 stars and 3 cheers for Article Kevo!
 
Jackson Soo, I have a question. I don't have a captcha solver so I did it manually. I gave up after a while because my neck was getting sore. The article was submitted to over 900 sites though and I consider that awesome. Can I go back and do more sign ups? If so, how do I do that? I can't seem to figure out how. When I try to do signup and refresh, the box is blank.

Thanks for your detailed review - love it! It's actually pretty lightweight and is simple to get started. Takes maybe an evening for a newbie to get started with it. But we're slowly moving away from just article directory submissions and adding more features to keep in touch with the times and to add better value for users (i.e. web 2.0, link wheel, social bookmarks, some profile links etc). And we're almost about to call it an SEO software rather than an Article marketing software.

Regarding the web 2.0 submissions, it's working great and you can create quite a lot of new web 2.0 properties each time. You definitely need to add proxies into the software (has a one click scrape 100s of free proxies) before you use the web 2.0 feature to create new accounts.

Sure thing - no worries on purchasing until the time is right. And thanks again! ;)

Thanks mate. We do try to add tweaks and improvements to the software if they're necessary,mother in laws or not. ;) Every feedback is read.

It should be up sometime in December. I think my account is at least 3 months old, will work on contributing more than 100 quality posts to this community. Will do.

Don't solve all these captchas manually man, it's not worth the effort. You can get started by placing small orders at any third party captcha services ($10 or $20 or so).

You can definitely do more signups. If you go to "Submit" tab, make sure you choose the Intention "Signup". Also make sure that you check the platforms ("All" or any specific platform you want) before hitting refresh. That will show you the list of sites that have yet to be signed up with.

Another way to do it is to display all the sites in the list, then click on "status" to sort them accordingly. Highlight all the sites you need to sign up for and hit Spacebar (to 'check' the sites). Then signup for them accordingly.
 
I`m also trying it and have some questions:
there are abot to 500 article directories
- does the full version has more included into the database?
- do You regulary update the ARTICLE DATABASE (and the other lists as well)?
- I cant find a complete changelog - will be interesting to see the development
- do you plan to include some more web 2.0 blogs
- do you plan to include some custom bookmarking sites (non-pligg, stumbleupon ex.)

I find the soft extremly fast and easy to use, great work done!

- There are thousands of sites right now in the database (not sure how many are article directories) - we do not limit the trial version much so it consists the same number of sites.

- We find and add new sites to the public list around once or twice per month. If there's a new site list, you'll be prompted to download and add it into your copy whenever you open up kevo. We don't really have a fixed schedule for this since we scrape sites and add to the list when we have a considerable number of new additions.

- When you open up the software, scroll down the "Article Kevo - Announcements" page and you will see a good changelog that we update everytime we roll out a new version. This helps users to have a quick idea on what's changed for every new version.

- We're constantly look at new platforms to try to add those to the software. This will, of course be done over time like we've been doing for the past couple of months. If you have any particular platforms / sites you especially would like to be added, feel free to let me know so we can check it out and see what we can do. Sometimes it helps to have a list.

I don't think you saw everything this program does. There are more than 500 article directories. There are also thousands of sites. Last night I had to stop a ping because I had to go to bed. It said there were 10k left to ping.
