i need help with this crazy program it doesnt work near as well as the way people say it work or i am a complete idiot...

This is not exactly contributing to the thread, but just to let you know that I downloaded WebCEO twice in 3 years. Each time I couldn't get it do the damn simplest thing - I just needed it to check rankings in 2 different engines - Google UK and Google US. I can tell ya that it didn't do it accurately. I called their helpful support but didn't resolve the issue.

So I use SEO Elite for link checking and ranking. Since I don't bother much with on-page SEO, the other functions of WebCEO is useless. But yeah, I agree, I don't get that program. Hopefully someone will post here who really loves it.

sh*t I keep getting these duplicates. I think I've worked it out now. Apologies.

WebCEO was one of the first programs for people to manage SEO campaigns. Since then, it seems SEO has moved on and WebCEO hasn't kept up. Last I checked it still manages reciprocal link exchanges which isn't exactly the best approach.

When I worked for a larger SEO firm, we used to use WEB CEO for rankings reports... I never used any of the other features, but would be wary of what they 'offer'... I do remember that earlier in 2008, Google blocked programs like this from doing rankings, so we developed our own. Not sure if it's working again.

No - no need to be afraid of using an automated tool to check Google for rankings. I do and thousands of others do and it's fine. Just don't hit them too hard, or they'll captcha ya.

Basically the thing kept eating up CPU cycles and bandwidth updating itself with a new "database" of SEO rules everytime i opened it. I don't know what they were since they never quite worked well, but I think thats how they give the impression of creating value.

There's no sense buying the software since paid version offers no real benefits but, it's not bad for several tasks I use.

I haven't seen a cracked version around here but a while ago I did try the free version, to be honest it's ok but these all in one SEO software?s can never really do it all. I think you are best off using one of the free version here like IBP or seo elite to compliment your other SEO activities.
