I started 1994 with screamtracker, then fastracker 2, next was fruityloops.
Now i am into cubase, because fl studio with UAD plugins is a pain in the ....
I have some official releases/remixes in the dance section (~138 bpm).

Reason does suck, the ui is wack and you cannot use samples! It's like a rip off cubase with no flexibility

Yep - Also a producer here. Started with CV/Gate sequencers many years ago (Roland SH101 / MC202 / TB303 / TR707 was my set up at the time) progressed on to Steinberg Pro24 then Cubase. Now use Cubase, ProTools, Reason and a bunch of VSTs. Hit me up if you would like to chat.
