Anyone used hostable.com?

Hi,

Hostable is giving free hosting for first three years. I hosted a blog there. I dont know whether its up all the time. Anyone here using hostable? if so, please give your review.

How can you not know your site has been down or not?

There are free services to monitor your website's uptime..

You need to monitor your sites.
 
I host a couple of sites on there, just for varied IP. Seems fine - registered about 2 months ago and never noticed it down. Speeds seem decent.
 
i didnt install anything to check is it up or not. I just hosted a wp blog and left it alone. today i remember it and opened the blog. The speed seemed ok. So, if its nice i am thinking to use it for more blogs.
 
I have a site on there and it seems fine
however today I got an email saying my incorrect real name has been filled in on my account, instead of asking me to correct it they suspended my account and all my hosting untill I correct it!
not very professional
 
Yes, Im using , Its Good, working Fine , i got a 2 year free Hosting from them, Thinkin of upgrading When required :wiggle:
 
i am using too, 5+ blogs, got 3years hosting, paid 1 dollor. speed is good, good uptime

i have asked them about the resources, they will kick any sites that take more than 10%CPu resources! :baby09:
 
I have 2 blogs and a small business site with them, all is good. I got the deal right when it came out, a little downtime at first but now everything is gravy. Recommended you try it.

too much downtime for it to be any good, only can be used for static sites
 
I have them for 3 years and they are down too often. And it's slow. The only way I can make it bearable is with Super Cache enabled. Only reason I'm with them is because I paid $1 for 3 years.
 
It's a decent hosting, however I get a downtime maybe once a month.
 
Hostable is not a reliable company. they can turn off your site anytime.
I got the promo of 99 cent for 3 year. my expiry due date is Mar 31 2014
Which i still have 10 week of consideration whether to renew. but on 15 Jan 2014
all my domain was suspended due to non renewal. i spoken to the live chat agent.
They said either i renew now and get the reminder 10 week or the account will stay suspended !

what a scam!!!

Same happened to me. I contacted their support and they reinstated my account for 48 hours. abso I was able to backup my websites.
