Anyone use UBot?

Saw someone at defcon mocking the shit outta this "noob tool" as the pros categorized it. But still..being mention at a defcon conference is a big deal I guess.. even if it`s not for the right reasons.

If you read you should already have read it here.
Ubot has lots of bugs and the .exe files that are created with Ubot are NOT working.

What the heck are you talking about? The bots are working fine on xp or vista, even 64bit. The tool itself needs a bit of learning like every other tool but once you get the basic hang of it you can create complex bots within an hour.

sometimes. I bought ubot too and it is constantly being updated which seems great, but with every update, there is something else needing fixed. It's frustrating. The bots do not work all that well at all. Hit or miss really. Maybe a simple bot would run smoothly, but if you want anything complex, long, or will just plain automate the mindless tasks you may have, it does not seem to do well. It says on the sales page about it being great for bookmarking, but I can't see how as I have yet to get it to properly run through all the pages as it should each time. It sometimes decides to input the variables and at others just sits on the page and then moves on to the next. No, not a programming error I don't think because sometimes it will actually work. Perhaps it's my IE browser at the time, I really don't care; I don't have time to deal with a $250 software that works half the time. I wouldn't recommend it until it's further developed. Right now it seems to be updated daily which while updated software is oh so nice, it doesn't give good indication that it is really ready for release.

screw ubot. use imacros for firefox, it's free and kicks major ass. i've been getting into it a lot, there are a few posts on here. you can do just about anything with it that you can do with a browser, i'm gonna make some videos to show some pretty basic stuff, and post it on here soon. it's pretty easy.

here are some things i've been able to do with it,
craigslist/backpage poster <-- easier than i thought! CL's a pain though
anything account creator <-- it's very good at making accounts. can implement a captcha breaker
can send emails <-- slowly, unless you have multiple vps.
some other stuff i won't say :D

the one useful thing about ubot is the free trial might have a fname and lname, zipcode, ect list.. but when i downloaded it recently it had none of that

So I guess that he did what lots of both big and small software developers do these days - released a paid version without throughly testing it first - so the customers are beta testers in fact...

in my opinion stick with iMacros learnit and learn it well for the type of marketing work i do and most others its just filling in forms and posting, u can do this with the imacros firefox extension... i really dont see a need to make complex bots unless u wanna get banned by google i think and many others will say manual and semi-automatic is the way to go... if u want your sites to stay in the top ranking s fo a long time...
i have tried all kinds of automated bots no good just get u banned later but good for the short term...

There was a crack in the forum, but id strongly advise against using it.

It appears to work no problem, but you;ll have problems when you attempt to decode the captcha. It brings up an error that only the cracked version makes it do.

Either buy it and hope you dont get as many bugs, or failing that just learn about making your own bot through traditional methods.

I have to say sorry but beside the compile bug which happend twice to me I never encountered any other "strange" activities from my bots. Okay they're not the most complex ones (mostly account creation for digg and other sites) but hey they're working and I am not a programmer. Love it or hate it but don't say its full of bugs, thats simply not true...

Oh and yeah, there is an cracked ubot around and this is what I call BUGGY. They guys behind ubot are great, the support is great and they simply rock so why not buy it and support those guys. There is a lot more coming related to ubot the next weeks ;-)

Shylesson - You so totally sound like that one guy who has a personal vendetta against us -- your posts are just too similar to the other dude at WickedFire. If you are, we http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/75751-u-bot-can-save-your-freedom.html#post683972. IF you have issues, get in touch with us and we will solve it or contact me for a refund and move on.

Scotland -- UBot Requires interaction with our server, hence the issues with the cracked version. You can read our official post on UBot Studio here - http://www.ubotblog.com/ubot-studio-nulled-cracked/ Our software works perfectly for over 200 customers -- no bugs and constant updates. If the situation was so horrible as the shylesson dude is saying, we would have riots on our forum.

Sippy79 -- Thanks for your kind words. :)

At the present I can not afford this program. I do have the site bookmarked because I believe it can create a lot of the functions that senuke does. LordB I get the impression that you are the owner of this software. Is my assumption about senuke correct?

My son programs in vb.net and most likely would be able to pick up how to use this program real fast.

UBot is amazing, I'll probably never have to buy any seo / link building / blog commenting / rss submit / scrapers etc ever again.

I can build bots super fast & I'm getting faster.. to give you an idea of how fast I built a fully functioning Twitter bot (auto follow/friend thief/auto non-followers/auto tweeter etc) in about 45 minutes.

Doing the same thing in imacros would take at least a day, probably longer + since its a .exe I can share it out with my out sourcers and not have to worry about compatibility problems.

Yup, I am involved with the company as a partner. And yes, it can replicate most, if not all, of what SENuke does. Our future versions will let you whoop any other SENuke kinda software's arse. ;)

Let me know should you have any other questions.

BTW some learning resources, if your Son decides to grab a copy of UBot Studio --

I have used both Imacros and UBot, Imacros is good tool and I love it. But buying Imacros for $500 dollars was a mistake and i honestly regret it. I regret it due to the fact that if you want to use Imacros for large projects and fully automating task you need to know another programing language also.

With UBot it took me about 3 days to learn most of the commands. I have now made some real bots that can make decisions. If a captcha is entered wrong the first time It will loop til it is entered correctly. Unlike Imacros it would just move on since there is no conditional statements within the software its self. I mean you can use conditional statements, but only if you know other programing languages also.

Anyway one of my bots creates accounts for 30 video sites and then it spins titles, descriptions, and tags and uploads it to those sites.

Now I'll be honest though and say it does take a little bit more time creating bots in Ubot though. But I think thats only cause your creating them with conditional statements.

All in all no one can tell me that imacros is better. I have made some of the most complex bots with Imacros, and it cant compare to Ubot. Unless, you know another scripting language to control it.

oh, and UBot really is noob friendly!

I think Ubot was shared on BHW, even with crack - I downloaded it just to check it out and it seems to be working on my VMWare's Win XP - but it's far from being stable. Is that thread was deleted or sth? I can't find it now...

Precision / HotCheats - http://www.ubotblog.com/ubot-studio-nulled-cracked/ :)

Yeah I understand...like I said I've only been able to check out the cracked version - and that's how it behaves. Since there's no trial or demo..and I'm not gonna buy it when I can code my own bots :) ...BTW: the crack for it is kinda weird, I would never trust to run this thing on my lap without virtual machine...so if anyone want to really see if it's really working, and really needs that kind of thing, I'd suggest go buy and if you don't like it ask for refund or beat the shit out of authors' asses :P Or just wait for updates :)

After weighing some things i decided to buy this tool, there is 30 moneyback guarantee which gives me more reason to believe negative comments are more on the side of people who used cracked version. The guy behind the project gives really nice support, after contacting him trough pm here. So far very good...
