Anyone use seowebhosting.net? Multiple C-Class Hosting Recommendations?

Anyone have experiences to share with using seowebhosting.net shared hosting?

I signed up about a month ago but I haven't transferred any of my money sites over yet because I'm scared to lose my rankings in Google.

And yesterday I saw an ad for them saying something like "Doing something blackhat and need to cover your tracks? Choose seowebhosting.net" - A little unsettling since being with a host primarily catering to the blackhat market can't be too great of an idea for legitimate sites.

I'm currently using a single shared hosting account with hostgator (business package + 2 IPs) and I have 30 sites that have been getting extremely slow lately so i figured it was time for a change/upgrade... But now I'm too scared to do anything.

I've also heard that maybe I should just get a bunch of shared hosting accounts from major hosts to diversify my IPs. Maybe that would be a better idea. Anyone tried that?

Paying $50/mo for a hosting account I haven't used yet is starting to make me anxious lol. Any thoughts/ideas you share will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I don't know anyone tried this before, but it seems a good idea. To be very honest there is no need to waste money on multiple Ips. If your marketing strategies are pretty straightforward and you are getting very good results without using any black hat or any hat techniques, then obviously no need to use C class Ips. IMO, you should upgrade your hosting account to next level with your current web host HG.

Well it is just form my personal point of view.

Today has been hell.

Here's an update on my quest to find a solution that works:

It all started when I found some terrible reviews of seowebhosting.net online and realized that their servers do actually suck as much as people were saying.
When I looked through my raw access logs, I noticed about 1 in 10 of my visitors were getting random 404s at all hours of the day.

Time to GFTO.

I decided the best course of action for me was to create multiple HostGator accounts and use them to diversify my IP portfolio.
So I created a new HG account to host this one particular site on and nothing else. The sign up process went smoothly but that was about the only thing that went well.

Here's where it started to go bad...

So I fire up my FTP program to start transferring my files away from seowebhosting.net and about
15 seconds in, the server times out on me and my transfer fails. Awesome...

Well then I soon figured out that it hadn't actually crashed on me, but instead my IP address
had been blacklisted from my own server. Perfect!

So then I load up a proxy and access my cpanel only to find out that apparently my CPU utilization spiked at 96%
and my account was at risk of being suspended. All from an FTP transfer!

Meanwhile, halfway through my wordpress installation on my new HG account, I get an email from HG saying
that my new account had been suspended pending review and to call support.

Ended up being on the phone for a half hour with their security department while they verified that my
site was not selling prescription drugs or anything illegal.

So now this particular website of mine has been through 3 different IP address changes in the last 10 days.
I'm sure Google will love that... :grumble:

This has been a complete waste of a day and an even bigger waste of a month of hosting.

Stay away from seowebhosting.net. Their servers blow and you'll end up wasting more money than it's worth.

The real question here is what are you trying to accomplish?

There is absolutely no reason to host your money sites on any kind of seohosting plan or worry about the number of IPs you are using for your different money sites.

The only reason to worry about IP diversity is when linking your sites together. SEO hosting or creating a bunch of sites on different IPs is only needed when you are using a network of sites to boost your money sites.

Unless you are trying to create such a network the best thing you can do if you need something better than your current shared hosting is to move up to a vps for your money sites.
