Anyone use direct linking (Pin pointing directly to cb affiliate link)?

I saw that pinterest posted on their blog last year that they are now allowing affiliate links. I have an account with 30k followers and I am a bit scared of losing it, so I thought I'd ask here:

Does anyone use direct linking (to clickbank for example) of pins without any problems?

Don't use direct linking

Direct linking is fine but you need to mask the CB url or you risk your account.
