Do they really ignore DMCA? What is your experience with them?

Never had an issue with them over 2 years of use. They even have a BST here now.

Stay away from this garbage host. I registered here just to tell you that. My random visits to my own new site there; 3 times in the last week, 2 times down. Uptime 99.9% as they say is just a lie. They don't know a shit about running servers. There is no such a thing as unlimited traffic, and in their case you will not get any traffic at all. How good will Google treat your site if it is lot of time down?

That is not true. You probably have wrong server, no optimization. 2 Times down about what?

It can be MySQL excessive usage, and your server goes down for that. My friend have a lot of visits and has never down! Copyrighted Content.

If your server is not well optimized, you will go down. Or if you are using a plan that doesn't fit for you, your website goes down.

Check logs, check CPU usage, memory usage. MySQL etc.

I can ensure, AlexHost is not bad! Of course they can have their problems, but they won't down all day.
 
Oh, it is certainly 100% true. What excessive usage? I am talking about new site with hardly any traffic anyway, running simpe phpmelody script with few entries. What I can say to their defense, when I contacted them, they replied promptly and fixed the problem whatever it was. But it just proved my point (also site was not all day down where did I say that)

You said "garbage host" now you are confirming they are not very bad like you said? You just stated, the opposite. Like I said before you should use the best hosting that fits best for you, VPS is a good choice..

Nameservers seem to be a bit of a liability - on the same subnet. That's not according to RFC, and shows a bit of unprofessional behavior.

I am the OP: I am using the Alexhost and it is running great so far... and I an planning to upgrade the shared hosting to vps soon.

Sorry... That's completely false, if you want to say something like that. Please show proofs instead saying just words.

I know a lot of providers that are using AlexHost with DMCA content for a long time ago. Maybe your content is for Adult. I think they don't allow Adult content.

At this moment AlexHost, ignores DMCA.

Check the websites hosted in Alex (there are more, but their don't appear because they are using any Reverse Proxy like Cloudflare)

i used them before 2 years and yes my content was for adult.warez hack and streaming.. they did said me they allow adult and then all things happened i describe.. there is nothing against this provider i just not like them at all..

my hosting just suspended, can you please help me to bring it back? It will really help me, I could not back up my website,
