Anyone Tried this Stuff? - Offering Free websites & Inturn getting commisions......

Ok, here is it.

1) Offering Free websites & online identity to local people/business.
2) Ask them to pay just for hosting @ $7/month via an affiliate link.
3) Get Hosting commissions.

Anyone tried this? Does that sound like a plan?

meann posted a similar method last year. Can't be assed to dig up the link, but do a search and you'll hopefully find it.

Anyway, it sounds like it could be done, haven't tried it myself though.

I offer free WP template sites with pre-paid annual hosting.

Some of these convert to custom jobs down the road...
