Anyone tried getting back their banned account back?

Got my 5700 followers account banned recently, submitted the report through IG,

they sent me an email saying I need to take a picture of myself holding a piece of paper with both hands while showing my face, with a verification code and my full name + IG username written on the piece of paper and send it back to them to get my account back.

anyone ever tried doing what they told and were you able to get your account back? Since I have multiple accounts at IG, would showing my face link me to my other accounts etc... thanks

Yeah, I tried. But the truth is I did this with one account. No problems after this verification was not
 
can you do this verification method more than once for more than 1 account?

will they recognize my face again if i do it more than once

How did you receive the email asking to take a pic holding a code? Did you appeal through the app or computer?

Is anyone having issues with the verification process? When I appeal on the computer using the link, they never send the verification email to my email address linked to my account.. I entered a backup email address and got an email asking to take a pic holding a code, but when I send this in the email bounces back saying it's not delivered
