Anyone tried Ebay Affiliate Program? Alternative to Amazon?

I would stay away from EBay. They redid their commission rates back In the fall around October. A lot of categories got cut down to 1%. Some items are at 0%.
I had a method using them and the rate cute killed the method. I went from $1200 a month to $150. I would not advise using eBay partner network.

i see in their Rate Card same comission for electronics as Amazon has now, also shitty

Ebay is good but Amazon's conversion rates are higher but with their reduced commission rates, would be a question to go with them or not.

Yup they beat amazon to the lower rate. God knows why, they’re losing their ass and decide to push away affiliates lol.

I got you beat, sold a 4.8k item, 1% category. Should be a tank gas for the SUV.
Nope got $0. Called eBay partner network, they confirmed the buyer paid, and they said that since their commission they got from the buyer didn’t exceed what they agreed to pay me on their rate card, it wasn’t in their interest to pay out, since they wouldn’t be making money on the sale.
seriously had it with these fucking dicks, at least they were honest but wtf why establish a rate card if your not going to stick with it. Before the changes you got half of the commission collected, it was a fair model.
Now they’re worse than amazon, beat them at their own game. It’s like they’re struggling, hard to make sales and they say fuck it well cut the affiliate program by the knees. God eBay is a shitshow.

yeah I would steer clear of eBay, not worth the time and effort - poor conversion rates and reward is too small. Better alternatives out there, such as etsy
Yes, I would advise against Ebay - conversions are worse than Amazon, yet theor commissions are now competing with Amazon to be the worse. Better alternative may be dropshipping. If you are concerned about China in the current environment, you can start with US suppliers / warehouses.
