Many bloggers affected badly by Google March update. Are there members here who are thinking to quit blogging after being affected by this update ?

I bet there are.

But it is uncalled for.

SEO means constant evolving. This is just one of those times.

Been blogging since 2012. Havent seen anything like this. Still I dont believe written blog will go anywhere. But I think we all should work to stop bots of AI sites from accessing our written content. How will they generate content if they dont read any of our content? They cant know how a phone's battery life is if they dont read what we say about it after using.

Quitting is never an option.

Moreover, some bloggers did not experience the update on all of their blogs.

You have to adapt according to it. Google is always releasing updates.

I hope bloggers take this recent update as a final warning and diversify their traffic sources. You shouldn't be dependent on a no-face big tech org for your income.

We are all dependent on someone else for income. That's how money works.

Well atleast you shouldn't be dependent on someone who doesn't care about you anymore.

Google doesn't care if publishers make a living. Directly depending on it primarily for a site's traffic sounds like a bad idea.

quitting is easy but doing hard work is tough so do hard work you will get success

Agree, the last Google update was terrible but maybe the next update will do just the opposite...

It has happened many times that a webmaster regained lost rankings of an update in next update. This happens even though he did not make any changes at all.

Many bloggers are indeed feeling disheartened by the March update, leading some to consider quitting. However, it’s essential to adapt strategies, learn from the changes, and stay resilient. Blogging can still thrive with the right approach and perseverance!

I have started a forum after the update. I already bought hosting for five years so I am patient with the project. Bug projects take time.
