Anyone thinking of doing a FIFA 12 strategy guide?

With the popularity of FIFA 12 and its new tactical defending system which people seem to be having a problems with.

I was wondering if anyone is considering creating a strategy guide product for FIFA 12 to go on Clickbank?

My webpage is getting 1000+ visits a day currently since the release of the game and an ebook would be another good way to monetize it.

I would do it myself but I haven't a clue where to start creating and marketing a product on Clickbank. Plus people did make attempts last year to create a product for FIFA 11, but the sales page was awful.

Could be a good niche for someone!!

Problem with these kind of guides and user base/demographic is that the people will mostly be looking for free info so while you got 1000 visitors, prob not many would actually pay for a Fifa guide is my opinion.
 
how about this make a guide then content lock it on your site, sure the payout won't be as high but you will most likely get more conversions.

yeh most likely, ive managed to get quite a few sales from world of warcraft guides before but as for a football game i dont really see how much info you can add that will be interesting enough to buy
 
You wouldn't even have to do a really in depth guide, you could have videos showing gamers what to do/how to do it, like a simple tips and tricks videos, but the content locker probably allow you to monetize it well. It depends on your site really

no but seriously it has potential but you need to be very careful how you present it so you don't get into trouble with copyrights/dmca/trademarks etc

another thing is the price, you might even offer some sort of free viral guide with few affiliate links in it to related products, or have a premium guide offer. If you choose free viral option you need to make a mock sales page selling it for $147.99 and than load it up on torrents "Hey $150 Fifa 12 guide - download it free".

You could browse around here, I am sure there ppl who have experiencing writing this sort of thing. If not there always freelance sites.
Look how the copmetion did it for similar products. good luck

I am in the process of creating one, will need a bit more time though as I am wanting it to be a quality guide.

1. Cos I'm rubbish at FIFA so the guide might come in handy
2. The guy's obviously just a spammer probably using a tool to post here, he even replied to his own post to start a conversation. Might as well screw up his chances of making a sale

There are a couple of guides here on how to get cb products for free, have a look in the clickbank section.

I'm not sure if football -the real one :p - is anything like soccer, but I've found out that fans can be monetized in lots of ways (ie. all kinds related products from amazon, printed mags, other games). Just target the grown ups and you can make bank.

I know this because I helped launch a client's campaign + website (manufacturer of a football item) and I had access to tons of market research (online plus the real deal). Can't say much more because of NDA etc., but it's definitely a good niche if it's anything like football, which I bet most popular sports with hugh fan bases are.

i am div 7 and 3 Star player Fifa 12.....not great but ok. I go through phases, great for 3 or 4 games then crap for 3 or 4. It's pretty intense to play for long.

The defending is the hardest part, so is scoring, crossing and tackling.. :-)

Seriously my defending can be poor at times....

Played my nephew a few months ago at FIFA12.
Had 3 players sent off, scored 2 own goals and lost 12-0

I therefore doubt any strategy guide written by me would be worth much.
