anyone there Scrapebox doesn't harvest even a single URL?

Do you go well with Scrapebox?

I am totally frustrated by it.. I checked my proxies for Anonymity and Google test,

modifying kewords and source for harvester, and even update engines in import.

but the harvested and blacklisted are all zero, There are only in Errors.

Are there anyone who solve this problems?

go to 'harvester engines configuration' in the settings tab, select the google engine and click 'test engine'. if it doesnt bring back any urls ('no links could be retrieved' message) you can export the raw html to check what scrapebox was given. its 99% of the time proxy bans.
 
For google you need at least Version 2.1.0.39 beta 1 and for bing you need at least version 2.1.0.41

the engines have changed things and scrapebox had to udpate code.

After you update then go to settings >> harvester engine configuration >> import >> download default engines

i updated 2.1.0.41 but still problem's ongoing...

i used both original and beta harvester, they show Error without any URL,,,

something weird is that it changed proxies not many times, just one or two times and show error.
 
The motors have changed things and scrapebox needed to udpate code.

In the new version, try going to settings >> harvester engine cofiguration >> import >> download default engines.

after you do that go back to settings >> harvester engine configuration

Then click on bing or google, which ever engine your trying and then click the test engine button at the bottom, does the test work or fail and if it fails what does it say?

Slightly unrelated but in the harvester engine configuration, I wanted to modify the settings for Google (to forcibly change the location) so I added it as a new engine, but it fails to get links when I test it. I thought that it was the "gl=uk" that gave the error, but the same failed test happens even when I don't change anything in the query string after duplicating.

It works for Bing, however.

Before this I thought my scrapebox was just outdated, but the same problem persists after installing the latest version and even with importing the default engines after.
 
is scrapebox still going strong? didn't think that would be still running, used it back when it first was ever released.

There was a bug when duplicating engines, where it messed something up. Im uncertain if that is fixed in the new 2.1.0.41 of scrapebox, Ill ask.

Yes, they still develop it daily and I still get questions about it regularly.
 
ok, there is no longer a bug, but google does use custom code that the other engines don't use.

So you want to use the beta harvester. And inside the beta harvester Right click the google engine and select "Clone engine Google". The right click the new cloned engine and select "Edit configuration of...".

This didn't work either. Hope this gets resolved soon.

I tried other proxies that are private (paid) and still get the error regardless of the fixes you mention on a youtube video 7 months ago.

Update to .45 version. It has up to 99 retries as an option. The issue is that it had a fixed number of retries and then when it ran out of proxies it would give up. It was probably like 3 retries. Now you can set it much higher which should work for your case.
 
I can't get it to work at all with proxies. zero results from harvester even with passed google proxies from both GSA and scrapebox. It's totally useless. Been trying for days reading forums guides etc.. it works if I don't use proxies but when I use proxies it gets zero results. I updated it, redownloaded the engines, tested all my proxies (they all passed) and still ZERO results from harvester

Are they paid private proxies?

Do you get errors?

It could be dead proxies

it could be some other error

It could be security software blocking/locking the proxies.

hard to say without more info.

They are public proxies from GSA proxy scraper and from Scrapebox.

Can't get any of them to work. Am I missing something or are all the proxies from GSA PS useless?

It's weird because they pass google test on GSA AND Scrapebox, return fast ping result, but they won't work for scrapebox.

Error log says "certificate not valid"
 
Scrapebox can be tricky when it’s not set up right. If you’re getting errors and zero results, it’s usually a proxy or harvester issue. Make sure your proxies are high-quality, preferably dedicated or semi-dedicated, and pass both the anonymity and Google tests consistently. Also, try switching to custom harvester sources instead of default ones, Google can block requests quickly. Lastly, ensure your keywords are broad enough and not overly specific. If none of this works, consider reinstalling or resetting Scrapebox

Well if you try it without proxies does it work?

Also the google tests are super basic, they test if a proxy can work with google with like the word

cloud

but if you use any operators or longer queries then google may block. So try them with super basic words as a test,

Also public proxies die ultra fast, so they may be blocked by the time you are done scanning them, like might last only minutes.

You can try it, but for most people its not worth the hassle and getting some paid proxies is far better.
