Anyone still staking $CAKE? APY +170% 52 weeks

I don't think you even understand why that is.

There was a community vote and the community decided on the new tokenomics (read: the majority of the holders)

Those who didn't like what's happening are selling, but it takes years for the coin to recover, which I don't mind as I agree with the new solutions like most long-term holders are.
I don’t like what’s happening but my tokens are locked in the stake for another 5 months for 20% apr. The money I put in there 7 months ago is almost half.

What do you mean you don't like what's happening lol.

Tens of thousands of people staked their $CAKE for 170% APR a year back, now the first locks ended a week or two ago... It never crossed your mind that people can sell their Cake after the locks end?

The price drop was programmed and everyone knew this.

The APR went down constantly anyways, the more people stake the more APR goes down.

What people didn't expect was the fact that APR goes down so quickly due to the new tokenomics but at the end of the day there was a vote and people decided that this was the best option for the future.

I had staked it on past and also made good profit from this. But I do not follow the news related to it recently.

In a bear market dex tokens are actually biggest losers.

I personally prefer in a bear market to look for a potential hot new startup that could do 100x once markets go bullish again.

Startup can launch with as little as $20k market cap so 100x is still just a tiny $2mil market cap.

While Cake already now has market cap of around $5B so even to double in price has to get extra $5B of investors money in.

I know one investor that all he does is investing in presales and he is already out at 3x on launch day, when startup goes live on dex like Cake.
Yes but that definitely carries some risk.

I guess if locks are ending right now that's why the price is half of what it was 7 months ago, everybody is selling. Hopefully by the time my lock ends I can get back my original investment.
