lately every new ad acc i make gets payment hold after 1-2 days, even with clean cards. anyone got a method to keep them running longer?

Now try starting with a few small campaigns, each with a low budget of about $1 to $5 per day and running continuously for at least 5 to 7 days to create a stable spending history, helping Facebook recognize your account as trustworthy. During this process, do not change your payment method or update any information related to your account to avoid suspicion by the system. Also, you should use a fixed IP address and avoid changing IPs frequently or using VPNs with many different countries, because this can make Facebook suspect unusual behavior.

Hold happens to almost every account, especially new ones. You can fix it and the money can still be returned to your bank.

As far as I can see, the money will definitely be refunded, but the speed will depend on the bank you use. After all, it's quite a hassle but people are getting used to it.

Facebook’s prepayment hold has become a feature and we need to live with it.

Facebook does this to avoid advertisers spending up to their threshold but not paying the balance

how bout those dealing with tiktok, seems same issues happening with all new accounts

FB holds your money to prevent you from committing fraud and not paying. Holding your money for 1-2 days is still acceptable. If your account is held for a long time, you should contact your bank for support.

New accounts often get payment holds due to low trust scores. Warming them up with small, compliant spends, verified business info, and consistent activity before scaling can help them last longer.

Payment holds are usually triggered by account age, spending patterns, or sudden changes in activity. There’s no guaranteed way to bypass them safely. The most reliable approach is to gradually build account history, maintain consistent spending, and avoid rapid scaling with new cards.

Make sure your account has accurate and complete information, including your name, address, and payment information. If possible, use a verified Facebook account to create your ad account. Use a card from a major, reputable bank to reduce the risk of payment holds.

in this game you need to create more accounts if some get banned just jump on another

Except for factors such as advertising accounts and payment cards, advertising campaigns can also cause advertising accounts to be held, but the account will still be active. If you can maintain the operation of the campaigns and pay on time, you will be able to limit the holding of money and the amount held will be able to be refunded to your account.

The situation of new accounts being held for payment after only 1-2 days of activity, even when using clean cards, is now happening quite often due to the system's increased risk assessment measures. The main reason comes from the account having no payment history, unstable spending behavior, or the usage environment being identified has factors that overlap with previous violations. To prolong the operation time, it is recommended to start with a low budget to create a secure payment history, pay the initial invoices in full and on time, and avoid reusing payment methods or environments that have been flagged. In addition, maintaining a stable login environment, limiting sudden changes to devices, IPs, or configurations, and increasing the budget in a reasonable manner instead of suddenly increasing it will help reduce the risk of being automatically restricted by the system. This is a process that requires patience and consistency to improve the reliability of the account.

it becomes common thing right now. You can just approve the hold and launch your ads normally

you gotta warm up new ad accounts and cards. start with a really low daily budget, like $5-10 for a few days, and make sure the card has a bit extra on it. it helps build trust before you start scaling

That’s been happening more often lately, FB’s fraud checks are stricter on new accounts. A longer warm-up with small, consistent spends and stable billing info can help. Also avoid adding multiple cards or making big changes in the first week, as those often trigger extra reviews

Use clean accounts, simulate human activity for a while, use clean proxies.

The ad's quality affects the restrictions also

Hi there! Payment holds on new accounts are definitely frustrating! This usually happens because Facebook's system flags new accounts as high-risk. Instead of creating multiple accounts, focus on building one legitimate account properly.

Here's what works: start with a small test campaign ($5-10/day) using Traffic or Engagement objective before running main campaigns. In Ads Manager → "Payment Settings" → add multiple payment methods and ensure billing info matches exactly. Check "Account Quality" regularly for any warnings.

Build account trust gradually - run compliant campaigns for 1-2 weeks before scaling. Use your real business information and avoid rapid budget increases.

I've seen accounts stay stable long-term when following Facebook's guidelines rather than trying workarounds.

Are you using legitimate business information for account setup, and have you tried the gradual trust-building approach with smaller budgets first?
