Anyone seeing this ALOT?

I am using the SNAP WP plugin to tweet so there is now way to authenticate from the same IP.
Probably this is the problem though, using different IPs when doing password reset and posting. Is there somebody to confirm the reverse? Like: using desktop solution with proxy IPs and doing password reset on the same proxy, is that still work? Another question is, is there a solution (tweetattack, twt dominator, etc) which supports the whole password reset process via proxy?

solution can be:
- trying to avoid it, performing less actions with bigger delays and/or this: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/twitter/693864-anyone-seeing-alot.html#post7090191
- or not to avoid it, but learn to live with it, afterall it's only a pw reset, if it's happening relatively rarely (once a day) and you have access to the email where the email gets send to, it's not a big deal
if you do manual work w/ only a few accs, you can try recording the reverification process with imacros, so you don't have to do it manually again and again
if you do botting, i guess sooner than later a solution will be implemented in the working bots as an update

the better question is how this pw reset affect the health of the accounts, how many pw resets can you get before they disable the accounts for good?! maybe it's not that drastic and you can have unlimited pw resets, but who knows, it doesn't help on the overall health of the account for sure

Not to parrot what you'll here from dozens of others here, but slow down a bit. if your using some type of software to automate your account(s) set the delay a bit longer. Also, a quick fix I've found for this (yet temporary) is to change your password and log back in. It's been working fine for me.

One of my accounts posted only one tweet and got the suspension again. So it isn't about how frequents the tweets.

Their cracking down! I agree it might have something to do with IP addresses or just "strange activity" compared to what the majority is doing.

All clear today ! Changed nothing hahaha fingers crossed

I have never got that message, But i guess its because im on a older account

got this again, whats up with this? Does it have to do with the limits at all?

I have no idea. Last time all my accounts got locked / password changed / unlocked and locked again for about 5 days. I don't see what triggers it or how to stop it.

It happened to one of my accounts, just after I decided to start following people (I'd built it up from it being Retweeted by my larger accounts) using a different IP to the IP that does all my tweets. So perhaps it's something to either do with following/unfollowing, or using 2 or more different IPs for a lot of functions?

I'm not convinced RE IP logins, the software I use goes through the Twitter API so IP should be less important.

However, er, I got this issue when I upped my 'follows per day' from 50ish to 250ish on two accounts (one new, one aged).

I remember with great fondness the days when we could follow 300 per day on a new account :)

Its driving me insane!!!!!!

Anyone know how to solve the issue? I first saw it on wednesday , fixed the issue . Turned the accounts off for 24 hours , fired them back up yesterday and after 20 mins they began to be locked again.

Tried again today and same issue

help !! please;)

I get this with my major Twitter manual accounts all the times.
Try changing your password, that should get back everything normal.

Oh my, I just moved my Twitter follower software onto my VPS and it kicked this up for ALL my accounts.

Gah!

Dont do unusual activity. You will never face this any more.

If you will get it more. So do slowly.

I got this on a couple of accounts. I think it has to do with logging in at multiple ip addresses while auto-liking... It's not a big deal, but I'm worried they'll ban the account after too many resets, which did happen to a new account over a year ago.

I'm planning to slow down a bit, and stop logging in manually on my phone.

Not sure how long this will be effective, but I found a quick fix for this. Just change your password and you should be good for at least a few more days then repeat. Been working fine for my accounts. They range from 3+ years old to 3 months so I don't think account type or age matters either.

Good luck!

i have not come across this issue yet, but i will keep an eye out for it.

I get this everyday, i have done for 1 month now, I follow 1,500 - 2,000 per day using mobile app, manageflitter & website browser, Just change your password and you can follow and use your twitter again.
