Anyone seeing big movements in Google today?

Saw major changes last night. Penalized site went from pages 50+ to pages 1-5 for about 25-30 keywords.

Site dropped rankings on June 8th as well... lets hope to good times last.

Everyone's sites that were hit on June 8th are recovering today except mine!!

My site is standing where it was before. No movement whatsoever.

one of my sites made a huge jump today. Also was NOT affected by penguin either. Site is up +18 for my main keyword.

what do your guys backlinks look like now?

I show a huge jump, about 5k more backlinks are now showing up in my serpbook.

My 4month old site moved back to the top of page 2, it was previously on page 3 since june 8th!

I only made like 5 blog posts on HIGH PR blog with ~20 OBL

I lost all traffic and ranking, WTF~~~~~~

No major movement across 3 of my main sites.

Noting for me too. Its just the usual 1-3 position difference.

One of my websites 4 years old moved back to the 4 position as before jungle update

One of my main keywords moved from page 6 to page 3 today. So I am sure something happened for sure.

Yes I posted on a different thread, one of my WP sites went up 1M in Alexa, that's 20% after re arranging pages to a silo model. Also up in the serps by about 200. This site is only a week 1/2 old. Just checked another one and it's up big time also for no apparent reason. Google dance?

Yes there is some updates from google. Thanks to it my site which has like 4.8k backlinks dropped to 2.5k but it's not all bad news because some of my sites backlinks jump huge number too.
"Back in 2009 there was a huge spike in concern over how Google handled nofollowed links where the PageRank would be diluted anyway when used. Matt Cutts explained then that if you had 5 links and 1 of the 5 were nofollowed, still the PageRank would be divided up as 5 and not 4.

I spotted a recent Google Webmaster Help thread where Googler John Mueller said the nofollow attribute can be used for crawl prioritization purposes.

John said it can be used "to some extent, for crawl prioritization." Now, the words "to some extent" is where John is referencing the PageRank flow issue noted in 2009.

But yes, you would be able to use the nofollow for helping GoogleBot crawl your site more efficiently. Honestly, I doubt Google or John would recommend this in most cases, as opposed to deploying a more efficient navigation scheme - but here is Google and John saying it can be used for this purpose as well.

Crawl prioritization is basically a way to help GoogleBot crawl your site in the most efficient manner. This helps with GoogleBot discovering new or updated content, plus PageRank and link juice distribution. Typically for larger sites this is a key area of SEO focus."

With the dramatically changing environment google is also changing it's approaches to obtain more user friendly and effective results and outputs.
