Anyone reccomend a solid American VPS?

I'm getting ready to go on vacation for several weeks out of the country and I need an American VPS so I can log into my ebay and paypal from US.. vs another country and risk it being suspended.

use a VPN, hidemyass Pro VPN is good, and it's only $11 a month. 9000 IPs to chose from.

ps-Even logging in from a different state in the US can get your account limited. The best is for you to call paypal and inform them you will be out of the country for a while.

I travel to various states on a regular basis and have not had a problem in that regards, maybe I should knock on wood!

I would not trust running banking data through Hide My Ass or any other proxy service for that matter.

I would recommend something like LogMeIn, it is secure and will give you access to your machine. So you can surf from there and everyone comes out of your home network.

Interesting , I'll look into this option as well.

Technically I don't need to log into my paypal, the most important one is to log into my ebay account so I can download the orders and submit them to the warehouse. I can always just ask a family member to log into paypal if need be, but I can just wait for 2 weeks to log into PP and withdraw the $$

LogMeIn sounds cool though, I'll check it out.

Thanks my friend, I just gave you a much deserved rep for sharing this info with me. I'm posting from Jamaica, I actually called ebay and paypal before I left and they saideven though i let them know its still likely that they shut my accounts down temporarily if i log in from a different country.

This is awesome though, i can work while on vacation and not have to stress about anything.. besides my wife getting mad I'm on the computer
