I feel the market of website and blog flipping is already dead. Do you agree or still there are examples of such deals happening?

I don’t think website flipping is dead, but it’s definitely more complicated than before. The simple SEO blogs with AI content and Google traffic are tough to sell right now, like really tough. Yet there are still buyers for profitable websites, niche sites, SaaS offerings, and lead-generation web properties. So yeah the market is shifting, not vanishing.

I don't think the market is dead but buyers seem much more selective now Sites with real revenue traffic diversity and a strong niche still have good value

It's not dead, but starter websites or websites with low revenue are not easy to flip anymore, thanks to AI.

I think website flipping still works, but it is not as easy like before. Sites with real traffic, income and a good niche can still get buyers.

A lot of website owners have diversified away from Google because it has become difficult to rank. Many now drive traffic through social media, but the problem is that social media platforms can be your site overnight and there's almost nothing you could do unless you buy a new domain. This makes it too risky for investors. One of my blogs was recently banned on Pinterest, imagine I sold that blog a month or two ago and it gets banned.

Sites driving traffic via SEO can sometimes recover from algo penalties and the SEO uncertainties but when your domain is banned on a platform, you are done.

I wouldn’t say it’s dead it’s definitely harder than before but websites with real traffic, strong niches, good content and clean histories are still being bought and sold the key is focusing on quality assets rather than low quality blogs built only for SEO.

It may still not be dead yet , but all of the gud money from flipping is going to end soon. the buyer are beginning to pay attention to income, real traffic generation, branding nd sustainability.

Not dead, but buyers now demand real traffic, revenue, strong niches, and clean histories.

Buyers have become considerably more cautious about acquiring blogs that depend purely on SEO, largely due to ongoing search volatility and AI overviews increasingly occupying organic SERP space.

not dead but the buyers got smarter. nobody is paying 30x for a site thats 100% google traffic and AI articles anymore, too many of those got hit. sites with an email list or any non-google traffic still sell fine.

the flip side is that if you are buying, the generic AI content sites are cheap right now. some of them just need the content actually fixed and they recover

I wouldn’t say it’s dead. It’s harder than before but good websites with real traffic, revenue and strong content still get bought. The easy “build a site and flip it quickly” model is what’s mostly dying.

The market's not dead, you can find good deals with Ahrefs or Semrush, but if your aim is only to flip the websites you buy then yes that kind of thing is definitely getting harder.

yes, flip is still alive for me but my client list has reduced drastically. personally speaking, I would prefer to focus on those site that have shown their ability to generate money without google.

I would not say it's dead, it's just changed. the easy days of buying random sites and flipping them for huge profits are mostly gone, but quality websites with real traffic, brand value and solid revenue are still getting acquired.

Is the purchase and sale done manually or through an intermediary through which platform or website? can you share it?

I think website flipping has changed rather than died. Sites with real users, revenue and something unique still have value.
