Anyone playing chess here? Which platform do you use ? ELO?

I enjoy it a lot but play almost only fast games ( 3 min, sometimes 5 min) and have an ELO of 1400-1500 depending on the period. Currently trying to improve it till 1800-2000 but it's very hard playing fast games and have no time to do 30 min. games everyday. When I play after drinking my elo crash to 1100 lol

Currently using the chess.com App

What about you?

The game is a bit hard for me.

I did know somebody once who was very good at chess; he used to play without his queen to make it harder for him, but still I never saw anyone beat him.

I like playing with a real person. Currently, I do not have that person. :(
I used to play with my GF but since I started to play everyday and improved my skill she doesnt want to play anymore because always lose lol . I miss so much playing with her but also let her win isn't credible anymore

Actually, if you are playing with a weak player, it become boring after some time. If you can get someone with almost equal strength , it is fun.

Yes I know, but I liked to play with her in particular to see her 100% competitive

I play against other players on lichess.org - normally 1-5 min. games.

If you want to become better, then I suggest you train using their daily puzzles. Play the same puzzles 3 times and remember it and put it into practice against real players.

I used to do that, but then I realized, I'm not really trying to become a grandmaster, just want to kill some time every now and then.

I would be willing to play Chess with you via either chess.com app or chess time app.
I am fairly decent I guess.
Have been played for quite a while but I might be a bit rusty.
Don't really play those 3 or 5 min fast games though.
Anybody wanting to play, could send me a PM.

There is nothing better than playing chess with your friend on solid wooden chess board.

Sometimes I start playing but I suck ballz. :( Any method for training? (besides puzzzles)

Reading manuals and playing it a lot. If you play it 30 mins a day everyday , in your first year the skill will grow exponentially

Your best bet is to memorize basic chess lines and research basic chess theory.
Hell, if you even learn basic opening lines like sicilian dragon or the yugoslav attack etc. you'll be slaying noobs with time to spare.
A lot of beginners also lose because they simply don't realize how important center control is.

sometime when i was a kid
this sport is the most heavy in the world
need 'remembering iq' and some 'logical iq'

I played it a bit for fun in the past. More recently, I played the PS4 version of chess, although I prefer using a physical chess set.

I use chess.com to play and have good points as well.

I used to enjoy the game as a kid, but for one reason or another I ended up hating it. I now don't have the patience to play it and can hardly enjoy it - I think I would be good at it if I perhaps learned some strategies and took my time making every move, but I can't as I get too annoyed.
