Just when I thought PTC sites were dead google brings the model back in focus, tbh people didn’t like it even when they were getting paid and now asking them to take a survey to read well bright idea right

Seems like a good idea to earn some extra money from Google. This will surely effect free visibility of content - a pay wall to get access to more content isn't great for the visitors but for site owners, it might be an additional source of income.

I am android dev sandbox now with yungpoint, went live on apple store and done better then google and actually pays out to my country

Yeah, this model sounds like a step backwards for user experience. Asking people to jump through surveys just to read content won't cut it. Smart publishers will find better ways to engage and build real value, not this.

Yeah Google basically reinventing PTC/survey walls is wild, but it’ll only work if publishers can balance UX without tanking engagement.
Curious to see if this actually sticks long-term or just becomes another short-lived monetization experiment.
