Anyone on Software Projects?

We have recently moved a product from Clickbank to Software Projects, which is CB’s up and coming rival. I was interested to hear some thoughts from people here who are on SP, as it is rarely discussed on this forum. We already have two products with them since last year and they seem to have all of Clickbank’s capabilities plus some significant advantages, such as:

1. More ways of getting paid (e.g. you can get paid through paypal, in addition to payoneer, check, ACH, etc)
2. All data is real-time
3. They accept payments from more countries, and they even accept local cards of foreign countries

On the other hand the main disadvantage is that there are fewer affiliates on it, so it is harder for vendors to get traffic.

I never heard of SP, thanks for this!
I'm wondering if they accept automation tools / bots as products? Do you have any experience with this?
If so, I might enlist some of my tools.

I believe they do - get in touch with their team. They are EXTREMELY helpful - I typically get a reply within minutes whatever the time of day and they'll take care of everything for you.

I am with sp as an affiliate for long time..They are professional like cb..Prompt payment..Better tracking..
 
Clickbank is going to be dead soon if they dont become more relaxed with their rules.

No they do not shave but they are getting a bit too tight with rules about what can and can not be said on pitch pages...

Hey Mancar.

I'm not on SP myself, but I watched one of my mentors take his offer from CB to SP and he's been there since.(he created fat diminisher)

And by the looks of it, it seems most top offers over there are driven by media buyer/native/ppc affiliates. I run into TONS of native ads promoting the top offers on SP as I surf the web.

So my guess is mass market appeal offers will get attention from the affiliate base at SP.

And I hope Clickbank wont die soon, I literally just put my first offer ever on their platform!

Yes fat diminisher's vendor is currently one of the top offers on SP (we're eyeing that spot though, already bet him on conversion rates :p )
It seems that the big guys are all already on SP - eg both wes virgin and mike geary send huge traffic through SP..but SP still has not won the mass affiliate appeal and I'd say there are probably currently only around 10% of the affiliate numbers on SP than there are on CB.

That said, with SP's features and the fact that most people seem to be seeing even better CR rates on SP than CB, I can see SP catching up and overtaking CB in the future unless CB ramps up their features and relax their guidelines. I know that CB is working on this already and they'll be announcing new features (such as cart abandonment) in the coming days...we'll see.

You mean banning shit snake oil products that were scamming people? Those product had moved to jvzoo or click2sell, feel free to promote them there.
Since I moved to promoting legit products on CB, I have less refunds and more profit.

i have recently started promoting softwareprojects too, before only promoted clickbank. both good but i prefer softwareprojects because they pay with paypal and i seem to get better conversion rates also
 
I like software projects a lot better than clickbank. Tons of flexibility + the real time tracking is real nice. Im doing 5K+ revenue weekly and SP pays you twice a week - good cash flow!

Yes most traffic to SP offers are from media buying. I run natives myself.

Yes for some reason the big clickbank affiliates are on SP too but smaller-scale ones are still hesitant about making the dip. It's what we observed when we moved some of our offers to SP too - all the high volume affiliates migrated but low volume ones did not. I think SP's interface is fairly intuitive too, so platform familiarization should not be an issue. I'm keen to hear from anyone who would not migrate to SP if the offer they were promoting moved to SP...specifically, what would keep you away?

yeah. im a newbie and i cant even sign up for an account. they keep telling me im getting flagged by fraud prevent but cant answer why and how to fix.

i hope i'll be able to sign up with sp and maybe i can make it with them
edit: i just checked their sign up form, do you need an already ranking site/source to get approved?

I have been promoting SP offers since the time that CB kicked out several of their best selling(but slightly dodgy) products, they had a big purge couple of years or so ago, been with SP since then and they are a pleasure to work with :)
