interesting. Ive been seeing a major trend in my views, coming from mobiles too. would be cool to check out

I can do mobile views. How much you looking for? By the way it is almost the same price as normal views, so it would be nothing different really.

if I was running an app that views vids from a smartphone, would those count as mobile views?

Yes, it does work... I did some tests, but only was able to get around 150 views a day per video per device!
