I’ve been posting consistently on LinkedIn for weeks, but recently my impressions dropped without changing content style. No links, no promotions. Could this be algorithm testing or content fatigue? Curious what others are seeing lately.

Try changing up post formats a bit like polls, carousels or short stories often restart engagement. Also avoid posting at the exact same time every day.

Yes, reach changes a lot lately, likely algorithm changed and is more related to content like instagram and early engagements. I tend to mix formats and early comments/like usually helps.

I've also noticed fluctuations in LinkedIn impressions recently, and I agree that mixing up post formats can help restart engagement. Has anyone tried experimenting with LinkedIn's new features, such as LinkedIn Live or LinkedIn Stories, to see if they have an impact on reach and impressions? I've found that early engagement, like comments and likes, can indeed make a big difference, but I'm curious to know if anyone has identified any specific timing or scheduling strategies that work best. Perhaps varying the timing of posts, as well as the type of content, can help mitigate the effects of algorithm changes. What are your thoughts on the role of hashtags in LinkedIn's algorithm - do you think they're still effective in increasing visibility?

Totally seeing similar chatter lately. A few thoughts that seem to line up with what others are experiencing:
  • Algorithm rebalancing/testing does happen reach can dip for a bit even when nothing changes, then normalize.

This often happens due to algorithm rotation or audience fatigue, so try refreshing formats (polls, carousels, questions) and engaging more with others’ posts to signal renewed relevance.

Agreed on all points. Sometimes it feels like the algorithm needs a "cold start" – a new format or spike in engagement to retrain its interest in your content.

became an overcrowded platform increased competition

This can happen,LinkedIn often tests reach, so views can drop for a while even if your content is good. Also, people may get used to the same style over time. Try small changes in how you start posts or when you post reach usually comes back.

Likely normal fluctuation. LinkedIn often rotates reach, and impressions can dip even with the same content. Short breaks, format tweaks, or more engagement early on usually help reset reach.
