I’ve seen random low-'res, blurry clips going viral while polished, edited ones flop hard.
Feels like TikTok is testing “raw authenticity” again.

Anyone else seeing this weird pattern?

Yes, TikTok’s algorithm seems to favor raw, unpolished content lately — it feels more “real” and keeps users engaged longer.

It might be that TikTok favors raw and authentic videos especially captured using mobile phones, and uploaded to their app. I see that all our uploads using phone + proxy gives more traffic compare to anti detect browsers + proxies.

Yeah, I've noticed that too! Feels like TikTok’s pushing more of the "real, unfiltered" vibe, even if the video quality is meh. Kinda weird how some high-effort content just tanks now.

Maybe audiences crave relatability over perfection a reminder that storytelling beats production value.

Sometimes simplicity cuts through the noise better than over produced content authenticity is the new polish.
