Anyone noticed pages dropping index after October spam update?

did you manually check each URL in google? Because if you used the site: operator chances are that you won't be presented with accurate / complete data as google are not showing complete info for that operator anymore.
But if you checked them manually and they're still gone your site might have been hit by the latest major google update. This thread was just posted moments ago by one of the more knowledgeable members of our forum and it contains pretty interesting findings, so you should give it a read:
