Anyone making money writing on Medium?

Do you mean indirectly through the use of Medium as a Parasite page or Web 2.0 linkbuilding source?
I should have clarified. Like actually writing articles and getting paid for it, not for seo purposes

Since the Medium Partnership Program only uses Stripe to pay I can't sign up. My country is not allowed. I don't know if there is a way around it.
I have over 30 articles posted on Medium now, but most are not getting read. I have a tiny following and I haven't tried writing for any of the publications as yet. I do have my eyes on P. S. I Love You.

Most writers who publish at least one story on Medium per month generate some money. I nearly 8% of active writers earned over $100 in July 2019, Medium reported.

I was able to get in with my Payoneer bank account. My country also isn't allowed. I got paid today from stripe 0.01 $ haha

How did you sign up? I remember Stripe asking for a US Social security number.

Choose an affiliate offer, write a product review, SEO optimization on the page, use google blogger to index it. It is easy to rank high for less competitive products.
I made quite a bit this way.
But please pay attention, competitors can report your article and you will be locked out of your account. (medium rules are always hard on product reviews)
Fix it by creating more other medium accounts (creating an account is free) or you can find other sources similar to medium. And I am also looking for other similar platforms

It works without it. Just not sure for how long but it's been three months since I joined. There is a notification saying that additional info required soon, but it works for now

Or, instead of writing product reviews, make guides to the best product in a niche with a bit of a general buying guide at the top? This way you should avoid getting your account locked.

Because it takes an eternity to build DA/PA and get a proper rank on Google. Only people that never ever built a blog can make it sound so easy.

I think it requires above average writing skills. I will try them if available in languages other than English.
