Anyone making money with Pop unders?

I was trying before ... well I`ve used a very ugly graphics ... and extremely low budget just to test & see what's happens ...
You know when you are trying to download anything from popular sharing sites , or even watch porn on redtube those annoying popups/popunders ... peoples don't react so well when they appear ... if you don't manage to get a real eye catching ad chances to get some conversions are pretty slims I think ... Or I was enough cheap and I didn't try more with more affiliate things to see what happens ... ( I was enough retard to be honest to try to promote etorro lol from cj =)) ) ...

Absolutely.
In most cases, a single targeted ad banner will perform much better (and obviously piss off less visitors) than a pop-under. Pop-unders are mostly used as the last resort, and on sites where people don't care that much about usability issues, such as adult, warez, etc.

It's a more antiquated ad type but I wouldn't go as far to say it's a "tough medium to make money". If you can source the popunders for cheap enough, make a creative that gets enough interest(ctr), and find some product/offer/service that converts you'll probably see some return. For the creative, think something generic that might appeal to everyone(you're today's _____.com selected visitor! or You've Been Selected From The USERSGEOLOCATED Area To Test ____) and also test using sound clips that will get their attention. I've had success pushing different things off popunders, try linkbucks.com/adonion.com/popcash.net/popads.net or you could contact webmasters directly and negotiate a fixed price per month and have them add your popunder code.
