Anyone making a profit buying established websites?

Does anyone buy already established sites on s*ite*po*int or dig*ital*point and make a profit just by running them autopilot and then buying more?

Are there good deals to be found and are sellers honest about the income they're making?

Looks like easy money if you already have some coin to invest, but website income fluctuates greatly and can be a gamble if you buy a site only to never make the investment back.

If people are already making decent income from their sites why sell them?

most will lie about income and traffic, but ur right, theres a glut of domains and sites/blogs out there going cheap. The trick is to find the diamonds in the rough by knowing the hot markets and or keywords.

Alot of scammers out there but like crunch said there are diamonds to find if you know what to look for. I have had success from sitepoint, never bought from DP though.

i agree..the numbers they post for profit or potential are often time inflated

Many use autosurfs to inflate their view counts.

Try other sites then DP Some smaller... look for those sites with a good PR, but which are not OnPage Seo optimised.

You can get a nice ROI if you know how.
