Anyone Live in Florida?

Not to go too political but I don't really like the UK and the way it's heading so not sure if I want to buy here for the long term.
I do see a correction happening at some point but goodness knows when. I live on the south coast and property is stupidly expensive.
Initially probably a few months a year over winter. Utilising the ESTA which is 90 days. Down the line maybe longer, since I run an online business it's tricky figuring out VISA so I will speak to an immigration lawyer when it comes to that time.

Destin and Pensacola are super nice but if you are willing to live in Alabama Orange Beach is a great option and its on the border of Florida.

I was born and raised in Florida. All I have to say:
Florida has a very good tourism marketing department, but you don't want to live here. Reasons you don't want to live in Florida:
-Oppressively hot and humid for 9~ months of the year. You literally can't go outside for over five minutes without sweating.
-Flat.
-Very little scenery.
-Beaches are fun... for like two days.
-Christmas without snow is lame. A hot Christmas is even worse.
-Lightning storms every day during the summer.
-You can't swim in lakes or rivers because of alligators.
-Too many "Florida Men" running around.

You should try living in Birmingham... Lol.
Although we're travelling/ thinking of moving permanently to Asia in September. Flights are booked, one-way.

Where the f do you get a house for £20k in UK outside the remote parts of wales and scotland where people can barely speak english?

Exactly there, lol. It's still the UK, technically. I know you can buy 1 bedroom properties in Glasgow for like £40k. But you're right, really £50k - £100m+.
Average price is around £250k though.

Only on season 2 I think but enjoying so far, been a few months since I watched an episode.
