Anyone lacks focus without coffee?

I quit it long ago. Only coffee....as a most suitable drug with some positive effects, that has to be used in the right time frame. Else is garbage.
Good for you, me too actually but not long time ago. Two months back.

2 things

1. Delete time, it makes you go back actually (to addictions), if you stop thinking about time, you are increasing the chances to be aware in real time, so you can do right decisions

2. Each addiction you achieved won't go anywhere until you die. You will always suffer from em more or less. The key should be in learning how to overcome these moments, like ignoring. Depends what method works for you.

Also, any period you spent OFF is time your body spent to clean up (as much as possible) you can use that as a factor too if you can't ignore time.

Good luck

I myself have a love/hate relationship with coffee and caffeine. Can't start my days without them, I only wake up in the morning because I set my coffee maker on a timer and arise to the smell of beans brewing.

Used to drink a lot of energy drinks when I was younger. Now its mainly coffee and tea. Every now and then ill take a 5 hour or other artificial energy drink, love those things but I know they are pretty toxic.

Coffee on a timer? This is the life.

Yeah, I try to take 3-5 days every few weeks without coffee to readjust back

It is not the substance, it's your mind. The only thing you really need is willpower.

My entire life I had a routine of 3 to 5 coffees a day (+ Coke and other caffeine stuff). Eventually, that damaged my body ... so the doctor said "No more than 1 coffee per day". I lowered my doses to 1 medium-size coffee and during the first months I was an ameba ... then, a couple of months later, the energy came back to me as always. It has been 3 years since that change and I can say I am more focused than ever.

About weed: it is supposed to be a "recreational drug" so ... smoke it to recreate yourself (like going to the cinema), do not try to make it part of a production process (that is a kind of disrespect to weed) unless you use it as creative fuel during exploratory instances. It is a waste of brain, will power and WEED! You have to enjoy it, not depend on it.

The opposite.
Coffee makes me feel a little manic and makes it impossible for me to concentrate.

I've experimented with coffee + nootropics for a while, and do not advise to go that route. The longer path of training the own will + discipline + some daily routine is the best.

As above, i feel like i cant do sheit done without coffee. I just dont feel like doing it. this is not so great because i limited my coffees to just one a day.

e.g. on coffee i can make 10 backlinks, without coffee im too lazy to do it, literally brain stopping me from opening browser and excel sheet

I quit drinking coffe caffine for a while like 14 months.... a few years back i was up to about 12-14 cups of coffee a day. Dr. told me to lay off, i stopped cold turkey and that wasnt fun. it was really tough
to concentrate but after 15 days or it's possible. I now drink 2-4 cups of tea now. I will have coffee every now and again. I like tea as it hydrates you where as coffee is a diaretic which will dehydrate you.

2 to 4 coffee a day. I need two to wake up.

OP there are plenty of ways to make your mind work much better - meditation and brain games (lumosity) are two of them.

But if you want to cut to the chase and get large quantities of work done without blinking Modafinil is the legit.

This is only a personal recommendation, you might try it and hate it, but I don't know anyone that has tried it that didn't rate it more than any other cognitive enhancer.

It can make you a bit anxious if you take a lot, you don't need much. I take 1/4 of a tablet to last all day. I've written 10,000 words of content in one day on Modafinil and smashed university coursework that I would have failed otherwise.

I know it sounds a bit like a promo, but I'm sure someone else that has a much higher rep than me whose taken Mod will say the same thing. DYOR

The thing with Moda is that it helps you to focus, but if you don't know what to focus on you can end up focusing on the wrong thing. For example, writing the most beautiful blog comment instead of working on your core needs. If you don't have a perfectly clear plan, don't do moda, you can easily get derailed with it.

modafinil is either expensive af or require perscription or both

I belive that is just an placebo effect, coffeine cannot give you more focus.

Personally, I am a big fan of coffee. It doesn't even have to be the fancy stuff. Just the instant black coffee is enough for me.
As for the focus, I mean im not going to say I "need" coffee to focus and i can quit any time. But i am pretty sure thats what most addicts say.

Yeah depends where you are. There's plenty of places online to get it, also the dark net if you can't get it online.

It shouldn't be a prescription drug, honestly, its so insanely non-addictive and non-harmful.

IMO the cost is worth it, like I said I take either 1/4 or 1/8 of a tablet - so that makes between 4x and 8x the number of doses, reducing the price by between 1/4 to 1/8 per dose.
