Why reddit showed "Something went wrong logging in. Please try again". It's disgusting.
My Reddit account keeps failing to log in, and the account password is always correct. Is it a network issue? VPN not working? What method can I use to climb up?

It could be your VPN, IP, or even browser cookies causing the issue. Try clearing cookies, switching servers or devices, or try to access the account on mobile.
 
Try using a U.S. IP address – that should resolve your issue.
 
yeah, reddit can be weird sometimes with logins, especially if you're using a VPN. maybe try switching servers or clearing cookies? that helped me once.
 
Try logging in with mobile data and see if that works.
 
I’ve run into that too , usually it’s the VPN causing issues. try turning it off or switching locations. clearing cookies can help too.

It's can be for many reasons. Most likely because you're not passing the recaptcha v3 requirements on your browser. It can also happen to shadowbanned accounts sometimes.

You shouldn’t be accessing your reddit account through VPN either way because chances are there’s already someone on that same IP browsing Reddit, it pretty much instantly flags your account.

Use solid, non spammed proxies.
 
I use a VPN service based in Sweden and have never had any problems.
 
Reddit login errors can be caused by VPN issues, browser cache, or account flags—try disabling VPN, clearing cache, or using a different device.
 
"Something went wrong logging in. Please try again" Error shows when you’re on an IP that’s flagged for spamming. Since you’re using a VPN that’s most likely the culprit, if you’re maning more than a single account VPNs are not an option, you need clean residential proxies, preferably from tier 1 countries.
 
Maybe already banned, reddit is nuts nowadays, even unusable.

But I logged in with the Adspower browser.
 
If you’re using AdsPower Reddit might be flagging your fingerprint. Even if your IP is clean, Reddit sniffs out browser setups that look unnatural or have mismatched fingerprints (like timezone, language, WebGL, fonts, etc.).

This error ist Reddit rejecting your environment before you even get a proper session.

Try switching to a fresh profile with a legit browser fingerprint, Make sure your proxy is residential and not already flagged, datacenter or reused mobile proxies are instant red flags for sure.

As Bexley said, test login from old.reddit.com, it is less script-heavy and sometimes bypasses newer checks
