So im looking for an engine to swap on my Honda civic looking for a b16, b18c or k20a..and im looking on Ebay and these guys are saying it was taken out of the car in Japan and shipped to here. So I was seeing if anyone knew where they order these at? If I could get their hookup then id be able to get it for cheaper than what their selling it for, since only idiots would sell it for cheaper on ebay or even the same price really lol, so anyone know?
Anyone know where the people get these?!

Where are you based ? Most jap part exporters are breaking cars and selling by the pallet. They save money by filling containers with lots of engines. Bringing in one at a time will cost you too much in shipping costs.
US and I never really thought about it that way...huhhh :/

Alibaba is probably the world's street fair. Minimum order 1 unit....maybe worth asking the seller.

If you register with any of the bigger exporters. Google IBC. Nichibo, heiwa or yamagin they will quote you for used parts.
Still think shipping is going to be too expensive unless you are buying in bulk.

True. Gotta judge the individual salesman. I've had 100% success with them in the past, eletronic stuff, computer parts, etc, always bought in small quantities from small dealers. But there are some quite obvious scams you gotta watch out for, if you've been around ebay and the likes you can easily tell.
