anyone know, where does ahref get the "traffic" data?

Ahrefs doesn't get the traffic from any source, it's just an estimate based on some formula they use in their calculations. That's why sometimes you'd some pages getting 0.1 traffic, you know there's no such thing as decimals in number of traffic.
I don't know the exact formula they use but I know it heavily relies on the position of the page on the SERP. By the way, the numbers are wrong on every level, it's just to give you an idea.
The figures shown by Ahrefs for one of my sites is like 1/3rd of the actual number.

yep, I just checked one of my websites each day for a full week and I can confirm. I got 11 clicks over the last week (as per GSC) but Ahrefs keep showing 4 organic traffic. Precisely (well, nearly) 1/3rd

The traffic they show is an estimate based a formula they came up with (aka it’s a wild guess), but sometimes they’re not that far off. I used to compare the ahrefs traffic estimates with data from buysellads for the sites that used that network (the traffic shown by buysellads is real based on real tracking) and more often than not, the traffic shown in ahrefs was VERY similar to the traffic shown by buysellads (real traffic).
Unfortunately buysellads updated its site and no longer shows this data anymore.

They get the keyword volume from official APIs which get their data from actual trackers.
Then they estimate the CTR for SERP position. #1 gets 30% CTR, #2 gets 17% and so on.
Then multiply SERP CTR x search volume. That's the formula.

The adwords statistics are pretty accurate. Donno if that's what they use.
As others mentioned, their stats can vary wildly. One month a site may report $ 20k traffic then flip to 500 dollars traffic just like that. Tends to be more accurate for higher traffic sites.
