Anyone know what happen to TemplateP2P

Had to do with VIP accounts and Admin's absence.
Admin was probably busy with school or work, some speculate there were personal things going on. But this is all his business and not the issue.
What happened was that they had only one user level who could grant new VIPs: the Admin. They only had one Admin.
When he was gone for weeks on end, all the new VIP purchases could not be honored so we had a case of an influx of $hundreds if not $thousands going into a product with nothing being delivered.
They're definitely just sorting this all out and things will be good to go soon.
That being said, fellow VIPers there were absolutely obnoxious...saying asinine shit like,(paraphrasing)"Hey you plebeian regular user, shut up. You have no right to complain by monetarily supporting the site because you have a low post count. How dare you believe you are equal to I, with my triple digit post count? You will be granted permission to the VIP by grace of the Admin when He pleases and not a moment before, and you are lucky to even have this chance. Be gone, but thank you for supporting the site and VIP section that I still have access to."

Yeah i read this few weeks back but that is something that i don't want to interfere. Some people might have a different way of thinking and the way they threat new comer like that are totally wrong. Anyway this is not the first time the Admin disappear as few month back there was a same case as well. But none have learn any lesson from it till the extent where some of the VIP decided to create another TP2P and bring over all the resources.
Was it? I tried to access many times but still down.

Just checked the DNS and it is still down.
I'm already a VIP there with a 1 Year subscription since 4 months back.
It's totally unprofessional should the Admin decided to pull down the site.

It was down yesterday for me, checked a few times and still down. Did a Google search for the forum for the last 24 hours and found this thread.

About 4 days ago I wanted to pay for the VIP service there but then I did some searching and found the thread where people are concerned for the Admin. That was when I discovered what LakeForest was talking about. Now today, the site appears to be down. They have some good stuff on there. It is too bad things went awry for them.
i've been a vip over there for over 2 years. Always enjoyed the site. If anyone knows if something similar starts up please post it here...btw on this site does anyone elses post count remain the same no matter how many posts they have..mine has been frozen on ten despite me posting more than that????

I'll keep checking this thread for updates. I haven't logged in for a long time on templatep2p and was surprised to find out that I can't access the site this morning. I have been a member for almost 2 years now and will be sad to see it disappear.

anyway...anyone care for a joint-venture to set up such community like TP2P?
maybe something that is more community friendly and full with activities..
dont get me wrong, BHW is still the best and no doubt to that.
but this is something for graphic designers community and share the template they bought.
a retail version and not something that can be leech out from s****mafia

Glad I found this thread. Like above, I was Googling to find out what happened. It is going to be interesting to see if they take my subscription payment out. The "newbie" comments drive me wild. If I'm a paying member, shut up, I don't have all day to sit on a board and post about how great I am to run up my post count.
As far as a joint adventure..........yeah, I'd be up for it. Business is slow.

Yeah I just paid for a lifetime VIP that never got activated. I tried VIP for a month as a trial and it was decent enough so I had JUST paid for it two months ago and it never got activated.
Shame too.
I have a few servers available if anyone is interested. I dont know, I liked Tp2p and would hope Admin comes back online.
Being a forum owner, I dont see why it is so difficult to give some of the moderators access to approve VIP's. You can do that with IPB and VB but he was using SMF or something. I often wondered why that was used but its not my business I guess. And I dont mean disrespect towards anyone.
Just many questions.
For all I know, he is doing some much needed upgrading at present time.
I sure hope it comes back.

I've had templatep2p for a very long time, back when it was almost impossible to obtain an invite.
Anyways, i'm completely down to start this thing back up on another more organized and clean approach.
Good thing about that as well, i already have the perfect domain too. I went ahead and setup a simple forum to get things started. If you guys want to contribute please sign up and post anything you have in your files. I'm going to go through everything i have tomorrow and post it up, let's do this.
If you're interested in working together to build this site to the potential it has to be email me, it would be like emailing the TemplateP2P admin but using FileP2P instead of TemplateP2P.
You can get to the site by changing TemplateP2P to FileP2P, using the same extension.
Sorry for the puzzle to get the website

No, there is no other site quite like TP2P, BHW is a completely different genre. TP2P is like the BHW of designers. You don't find (much) design stuff on BHW, just like you don't find SEO stuff on TP2P.
For those of you designers, I've been using Google reader to subscribe to GFXtra, Script-Mafia, CRShare and BoyGJ RSS feeds. Then I just search my reader and 90% of the time I find what I'm looking for.
But hopefully TP2P comes back soon..

A community where people share website template, stock graphics, stock footage, fonts, and everything else you can use as a designer. Most of it is retail stuff (including docs, PSD's,) not ripped crap like on many other sites, they have rips, but separate from the paid versions.
You can find just about any template from any studio.
