I use openshot video editor and it's robust enough to handle my video production

The problem is it renders slower than a Miss Universe contestant answering a high school history question.

Anyone know of a software package that renders 3 to 5gb videos within the time it takes me to enjoy a large mug of coffee?

Thanks in advance, guys

I’ve been using Pictory! I lowkey miss Vidnami haha - it’s similar, but it’s still not as great as Vidnami. I haven’t had any terrible experiences with it either.

Rendering a video depends on multiple factors. The resolution, bitrate and encoder. It's impossible to tell what software is faster just by size.

I suggest following settings to render faster without loosing quality.

Format: H264 (MP4)
Resolution: 1920x1080
Bitrate: 10MB/s
FPS: 30

I personally prefer Premier Pro or Davinci Resolve for editing and rendering videos.

For FX I prefer after effects and render using Media Encoder.

ye im with nirajjoshi on this, davinci resolve is the best one tbh it usually takes 10-25 mins for a 3 hour long video and renders most of my videos really fast.

I use shotcut, not sure how it compares to openshot though
