Hey

just recently heard about this site and was wondering what is it all about? is there any black hat methods of winning bids? is this true you can purchase new products for very cheap?? if so i have a lot of money to invest into buying products and reselling them to contacts i have.

anyone who can help me would be rewarded well in a long term relationship.

has anyone every used this site before? and bought items?

There is no way to get those items at that price. They already have bots that automatic bid once you bid. So good luck :)
 
You can win things, but it comes down to luck a lot of the time. However a lot of sites now are doing buy it now type things. Basically you can cut your losses and take the bids you used and apply them to purchase the product.

I just put it in the entertainment category. I've won 2 things ever. A ds and a blu Ray player. Basically it comes down to increased risk vs savings.

Do it for fun if you do it though. Don't expect to make huge money. Also bots only exist on the scam type sites. The bigger ones have no need for fake bidders. Its all based on dollar auction theory. Wiki it.

It's legit, but the creator is making a killing. They make basically 2x whatever the product is worth, minimum.
 
I have a friend that won a plasma for 160 bucks then got an email that said they where sorry the product was out of stock and they gave him his bids back plus and a shirt LMAO!
 
it's basically the greatest scam ever, your dreaming if you think your ever going to win anything good, i wouldn't bother especially since it's like $250 to purchase bids or something like that?
 
These sites are often not scams, and you can really win. They are just thinly disguised gambling.

To place a bid, you have to pay. Let's say 50 cents. That's 50 cents that goes right to the company, and you never see it again. Also, when you place a bid, it adds time to the auction clock.

So someone else then has a chance to outbid you. Probably by a penny. This also adds time to the clock, so someone else (or you) can bid again.

With each bid, the site keeps the 50 cents. By the time the auction is over, the site has accumulated enough half dollars to earn a damn good profit on whatever the item was.

So basically you are buying 50-cent lottery tickets (ie, not worth it). You can win--you just have to be the last bid when all the other bidders have decided to all give up at the same time (ie, low chances).

I couldn't have said it better. This is what kills me- I can't make a legit living playing poker online anymore because it is considered a game of chance. This is obvious BS. If you've ever played the game you know that skill is a bigger part of the winning than getting lucky and no one person is luckier than another in the long run. Yet you can open a site like quibids which is the closest thing there is to a freakin raffle, profit from it and yet some loophole in the legal system prevents it from being classified as what it really is-a game of chance where you might get lucky and win.

Anyways yeah, quibids is making a ton of money by earning on the bids or "entries" as opposed to the product. Guess I'm just jealous because I didn't think of it first ha.
 
I actually did win some things at a VERY CHEAP prices, but there is so much risk involved. I like ArrowOutlet better because they reward you, but you have to be REALLY lucky to get an item at good prices. Most likely, in all penny auctions sites, you will lose money than you would have saved.

Except, my friend helped me develop a trick/ sort of algorithm, for when to place bids and bullying strategy to win auctions.

Yes, it is gambling, and others can claim it a scam. However, it really isn't a scam. It's just deceiving, making you spend more money than you actually think you're spending. Bids, buying more bids, etc. I think that's why everyone think it's a scam.

DON'T GET HYPED THOUGH. This is the technique they're trying to pull you in.

I got a $50 Best Buy gift card for 50 cents, no joke, but the bids I had to spend was like $60! Although there was a time where I won a $100 amazon for $3, and I only spent $25 on bids, so not all bad. Very very rare you will get that UNLESS you have a good ass technique. I have a working method that leverages me up, and I resell these babies back to eBay = $$$$. I've been doing it for a couple months. Made only $2,000 ($700 per month average) though. It isn't really worth my time anymore.

I've been doing a ton of research into these sites because I am looking to open one myself. I'm not a big fan of actually bidding on them to win products, but I think you probably could win enough to make some side money. If you look up a site called all penny auctions they keep track of the most successful bidders. Some people have made hundreds of thousands of dollars on these sites. There is definitely some skill and strategy to it. Also, if you use the sites with buy it now you can use your spent bids as a discount on the price. So for example fi you spent 50 in bids on a 100 item you could buy that item for 50. I think with a proper strategy and some planning you can win some items at a huge discount and break even on others. This method will at least ensure that you profit slightly. You just have to make sure your planning includes the costs of fees and other miscellaneous expenses.
