this site here:
Code:

Or perhaps, does anyone know any clone type of sites with these features?

To copy that will be a ton of javascript/jquery programming, good luck.

ok thanks for the input, I gotta say, it's very clean and nicely done.

While this is a custom job, its actually using all pretty standard jQuery UI stuff - actually a lot less complicated than it may seem. I've built several similar interfaces. The key quite frankly is a well-designed database for the lookups. Sliders in JS - sending AJAX to a php script on the back-end is the challenging part.

About 80-120 man-hours max for a control like that. Should have cost between $5000 and $8000.

Indeed.

Trololol!!! :D

Not more that 15 hours of work for the full front-page interface and 1 hour for the ajax bridge max.

It may be more than 15hrs, as there's a section for you to register and upload products as well. The backend admin area provides traffic reports etc for end users who submit their products.

Of course, I agree with you. But, I was not talking about the whole thing.

:)

I was thinking of the entire app, including back end, browser testing, usability, acceptance, and the inevitable customer post-delivery mods.

If it is indeed approximately 5-8k to build this, it's not bad as I actually got the package pricing to be listed on the site. They can make the money back within 4 clients on their lowest tier package.
