If my laptop is ever stolen, the thief could login into my adsense, bhw, gmail, website logins, namecheap, godaddy, cpanels, etc. You know why? Because I am auto-login and my passwords are stall when they are not login.

This sounds like a bad case of identity theft. You might want to talk to a lawyer and see what options you have to protect yourself from further fraudulent activity and liabilities.

Money lost can be earned again, stolen laptops can be replaced, and accounts can be recreated... rebuilding people’s trust will be a lot harder. Good luck to you getting back.
 
when i was young my mother worked at some average department store. her purse got stolen one day and this thief went crazy with the identity fraud shit. took my mom months to deal with it and she was a mess the whole time. it’s hard to believe someone went to the lengths this person did but i know first hand that it happens. if what you said is true i would look into making sure you’re protected moving forward. sorry about your luck brother but you will bounce back

Few months back my BHW account was hacked and the thief changed both password and the email associated with my account.

Thanks to the Mods here, I got it back.
Use strong password and 2F authentication to be safe.

Hope you will be ready to take more writing work soon.

Good to have you back @Nerva. I have to admit, I was like 'no he didn't' and 'surely not' when I read your password and pin history, :eek: 'No seasoned IM'r can be that stupid!' :confused:

But, it seems like you had a hard lesson in digital security complacency and paid the price. Which sucks.

I am looking forward to your contributions to the BHW community in the future and working with you again.
